Full Center Frame Section (ART-170X/D-R) Passenger Side

Description Our SafeTCap® ART-170X/D Full Center Frame Section was designed to repair the 2nd Gen Silverado 1500/3rd Gen Sierra 1500 Extended Cab and Double Cab. This part is 52″ long 7.5″ tall, and caps over the existing frame from underneath without having to remove the bed or the cab of your truck. The ART-170X/D caps the frame starting at the transmission cross member, and notches around the mid cab mount then ends just before the rear cab mount. The original frame is 8″ tall so the ART-170 will cap the frame leaving a 1/2″ of original frame exposed to weld to. Fuel tank MUST be removed to install this part as well moving the fuel and brake lines away from the inner frame before install. Installation instructions provided with each frame kit.
